BallBack just crossed 65,000+ tennis balls recycled or repurposed. This latest jump came in large part from two new collaborators: Eco Serve Tennis and Esha Meta, who helped us move more balls in a few weeks than we used to move in a quarter.
Here is a quick update on what 65,000 means, who made it possible, and where you will see BallBack next.

The Update
How we got to 65,000
A lot of the recent volume came from coordinated pickups and events tied to Eco Serve Tennis and Esha Meta. Their reach helped us connect with new facilities and players who had been sitting on bags of dead balls with no clear place to take them. In a few weeks, those balls went from garages and court corners to RecycleBalls boxes and reuse programs.

Over 125 million tennis balls hit U.S. landfills every year, and a single ball takes roughly 400 years to break down.
Partners
Thank you, Eco Serve Tennis and Esha Meta
Partnerships like these matter because they let us move faster without adding overhead. Eco Serve Tennis and Esha Meta both understood the problem quickly and leaned in to help us collect, promote, and ship more balls than we could have handled alone.
If you are reading this and thinking your organization, club, or brand could do something similar, email us at prem@ballback.org. We are always looking for aligned partners who want to keep tennis out of the landfill.

What's Next
Keep your eyes open
We are not done. The next target is 75,000 balls recycled, and we are already planning the pickups and partnerships to get there. In the meantime, keep an eye on our Instagram feed, our newsletter, and maybe even the news. Some exciting coverage is in the works, and we will share it as soon as we can.
"65,000 is not just a bigger number. It is proof that when tennis people work together, the sport gets cleaner."
, Prem, founder
- To Eco Serve Tennis and Esha Meta for helping push this milestone over the line.
- To every partner facility that keeps a bin courtside.
- To every chapter leader running pickups in their own city.
- To everyone who shared a post, told a friend, or sent a ball our way.
- You are the reason 65,000 is a real number and not a projection.
