/ Our story
A student crew turning ball waste into real impact.
BallBack started in a high-school locker room and now collects, ships, and recycles tennis balls across the country, in partnership with RecycleBalls.
/ The problem
Tennis balls don't biodegrade.
Billions are made and tossed every year. Most facilities have no recycling system, so balls end up in landfills where they'll sit for 400+ years.
We saw the problem at our own home courts. We decided to fix it.

/ Founder
"Most players don't think twice about dead balls. They get slapped outside the court and tossed. The reality is most end up in landfills, without a second life."
BallBack began when we noticed how many balls were thrown away every week at local courts, tennis centers, and high-school programs. We started BallBack to make it easy to do the right thing.
Instead of letting balls go to waste, we place collection bins at courts and orchestrate pickup, shipping, repurposing, and recycling, so tennis can be sustainable for everyone.
