Recycle Tennis Balls with BallBack: Student-Led Tennis Ball Recycling Nonprofit

BallBack is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps players, clubs, and schools recycle tennis balls from courts, clubs, schools, and HOAs across the United States. We partner with RecycleBalls and a network of local chapters to keep tens of thousands of used tennis balls out of landfills every year, routing them into youth tennis programs, dog shelters, court resurfacing materials, and certified tennis ball recycling streams. If you have been wondering what to do with old tennis balls, BallBack is the easiest way to recycle them. Founded by high school students in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, BallBack now operates chapters in New York City, Philadelphia, Houston, Maryland, Frisco, Plano, Flower Mound, and beyond. Every can of tennis balls carries a hidden environmental cost: the rubber, felt, and pressurized core take 400+ years to decompose, and the United States alone throws away an estimated 125 million balls each year. Our mission is simple: make recycling tennis balls the obvious choice for every player, club, and community in the country.
