BallBack just crossed 160,000+ tennis balls recycled or repurposed. Ten thousand more balls off the courts and out of the trash since the last update.
Here is the quick version of what 160,000 means, who is making it happen, and what comes next.

The Update
How we got to 160,000
Thirty-one student leaders across 16 states have kept the bins moving through the fall season. Every week they empty courtside bins at 47+ partner facilities, pull out the still-bouncy balls for youth programs, and box the rest for the next RecycleBalls shipment. New chapters in Wisconsin, California, and the Pacific Northwest helped push the total over the line.

160,000 diverted tennis balls is rubber that will never sit in a landfill. Instead, it becomes court surfaces, playground padding, and gear for youth players.
Thank You
The people behind the number
To every facility that keeps a bin courtside, to every chapter leader hauling boxes to the UPS store on a Saturday, and to everyone who told a friend or dropped off a bag of dead balls: 160,000 is your number, not ours.
If your club, school, or organization wants to be part of the next milestone, email us at prem@ballback.org.

What's Next
The road to 175,000
With new chapters still launching and fall play in full swing, the next target is 175,000 balls. Keep an eye on our Instagram feed for pickup photos, chapter launches, and whatever comes after that.
"160,000 is proof that a bin by the fence and a student with a car can move a real number."
